Hi! My name is Abi Ingram and I have a deep passion for learning about different cultures–something that has been cultivated since childhood. Growing up, my family had the wonderful opportunity to host exchange students from various parts of the world, including Japan, China, Mongolia, and Catalonia. Being exposed to such diversity at a young age has greatly influenced my perspective on the world. Currently, my academic focus is on gastrodiplomacy, sometimes referred to as culinary diplomacy. I believe that food has the power to bridge cultural gaps and foster understanding between individuals of different nations. At Baylor, I am pursuing a degree in Political Science with a minor in history. Apart from my academic pursuits, I really enjoy cooking, baking, and crocheting. Whether it's experimenting with new recipes or embarking on a crochet project, I find joy in every step of the process. Although I was born in Oxford, England, my upbringing took place in a smaller city in Southern California. In my leisure time, I enjoy exploring the world of fiction, from period dramas to the heartwarming series that is Gilmore Girls.
